About me
Kristin Szawan is an accomplished education administrator with over two decades of experience in special education leadership. She currently serves as the Director of Student Services for Cranford Public Schools, where she oversees a comprehensive range of programs supporting students from preschool through grade 12. Kristin has a strong background in instructional leadership, program development, and inclusive education, and is known for expanding district services and driving innovative practices to meet diverse student needs. She holds advanced degrees in education leadership and social work and is a certified Nurtured Heart Approach trainer. Kristin also actively mentors emerging leaders as part of New Jersey’s Leader 2 Leader program.
