About me
I am a dedicated Special Education Specialist with a passion for improving educational outcomes for all learners. With over 20 years of experience in special education, teacher mentoring, and professional development, I have consistently worked to empower educators and enhance instructional practices. Currently, I serve as a Special Education Specialist with the New Jersey Department of Education, where I provide technical assistance, design inclusive instructional programs, and deliver professional development to teachers, administrators, and school leaders. My work focuses on implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, improving intervention systems, and increasing student achievement through small group instruction and technology.Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about volunteer work, mentoring, and mathematics tutoring. I love spending time with my grandchildren and exploring new destinations through travel. My commitment to both personal and professional growth drives me to create meaningful learning experiences for educators and students alike.
