Dr. Dana Mason is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Technology. Prior to moving into higher education, she served in various capacities of K-12 education, primarily as a STEAM educator focusing on arts and technology integration. Her research and publications focus on convergence education and supporting educators through effective professional development of emerging technology trends. Dr. Mason trained at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center as an educator in space academy and earned the Commander’s Cup Award for teamwork and leadership (2018), and the New Jersey Governor’s Educator of the Year Award (2020) for her school. She has had global experience working with students and educators in Asia an South America, and is passionate about inspiring educators of all disciplines to embrace technology and 21st century learning.
